The Beastlings- a must-see talented and versatile performance

I've not attended any new musicals and shows for a few years now and when producer, stage performer and emcee Joanne Kam, sent me a message about The Beastlings, the description of the music that was lined up for the weekend show immediately attracted me.
Q: What do you get if you combined The Beatles, The Four Seasons, Boys II Men, Backstreet Boys,The Warblers and One Direction into ONE Group?
A: An all singing, harmonising, fun combination of vocal magic performing Pop, Rock, R & B and Soul medleys from the 70s, 80s, 90s and current hits in fresh new arrangements!
I knew nothing about the singers but for RM60 and a welcome drink, it is not too big of a sum to pay to watch such great local talent.
Theatre Lounge Cafe, Plaza Damas 3, Sri Hartamas is a cozy little outlet where you can picture Cher performing with Christina Aguilera in Burlesque. You're seated close enough to the stage to feel that you're connected to the performers and Creative & Music Director, Ll…

Art Expo Malaysia celebrates it's 10th Edition in Kuala Lumpur #artexpo2016 #artexpomalaysia #artexpoplus

The Art Expo Malaysia (AEM) is celebrating its 10th edition in 2016 as the longest running international art fair in Southeast Asia, a rainbow package of art from the East and West, from the South and Central America, apart from Central Asia. This year, the art fair runs from October 20 to 23, at Matrade Exhibition and Convention Centre (MECC), featuring 60 established and reputable art galleries from 30 countries, exhibiting 2,000 pieces of artworks (including paintings, sculptures, installation and photography) under one roof.
The Art Expo Malaysia Plus is an upgraded art fair in standards and procedures with a spruced up presentation. Also, ensuring that more reputable artists, bona-fide better run galleries and artwork stipulations get priority.
AEM was started in 2007 by art philanthropist Datuk Vincent Sim Tiak Choo, with the dream of having an art fair to bring together some of the finest artworks from different parts of the world to Kuala Lumpur, for public viewing. Back then…

Sichuan, Heaven On Earth

I know that China has many beautiful landscapes and they're famed for their all-time-favourite adorable animal, the panda.

I have to admit though, I've never really thought of travelling to China, specifically Sichuan (which means four rivers) - until yesterday. Yesterday, I learned about their famous Sichuan cuisine.

Chuan Cuisine, originating from Sichuan Province in southwestern China, is the most widely served cuisine in China.
The most common flavors of Chuan Cuisine are hot and spicy, “the five fragrances” (Fennel, pepper, aniseed, cinnamon, and clove), other mixed spices, chili and Sichuan pepper (made with prickly ash), and sweet and sour.
But pandas and food are not enough pulling factors to make me want to pack my bags and leave for China immediately. What really made me wish I could get on a plane right now:
Isn't that just beautiful? It makes me want to whip out my paint brushes and watercolours and start painting! Or at least whip my camera out and start sho…

3 Healthy Breakfast Recipes With Milk

I've always loved drinking milk, day AND night and when Dutch Lady announced their 7-Day Breakfast Challenge, I was excited to be part of it. I usually skip breakfast due to my busy schedule but I managed to have 7 days of a relatively healthy breakfast because of this challenge! They even sent a surprise breakfast to my doorstep to kickstart the campaign!

Guess what? I just had my very late brekkie consisting of yummy mushrooms, sausages, 2 perfect sunny side ups and Dutch Lady's Pure Farm Full Cream Milk. Back to preparing myself for my afternoon meeting! #sarapandutchlady @dutchladymalaysia #breakie #brekkie #breakfast #milk #healthybreakfast #foodie #foodofinstagram #foodporn A photo posted by Hanniz (@hannizenvato) on Sep 18, 2016 at 9:59pm PDT

While some of us prefer to sip coffee or tea to give our sleepy bodies a jolt in the mornings, others lift their mornings with malt beverage or juices.
