The holiday really begins with us heading towards the southwest coast of Sri Lanka. We didn't want to spend a night in Galle so we passed through the town on the way to Weligama where we stayed two nights. Galle is about 90 minutes from Bentota and 50 minutes to Weligama.
We stopped by a shop selling wooden crafts
And had a quick late lunch

We had dinner on the beach that night. Some local chicken and fish with rice.
