Most Outrageous Looks at the #MetGala

So I've posted about my favourite "boring" looks at the Met Gala. Here are the ones I found outrageous. (Their smug looks didn't help in this case). Lady Gaga's look won't be included in this post as it's a norm for her to be outrageous but in case you're curious, here's A LINK TO HER LOOK

Poppy Delevigne reminds me of a chandelier when she chose to wear an elaborately fringed, beaded and illusion-netted Marchesa column gown with a high neck, plus Stephen Webster jewels and matching metallic Oroton clutch.
What not to do with balance cloth and curtain fabrics
Charlotte Casiraghi in a yellow, pink and berry tiered Gucci gown
Tavi Gavinson in a ruffled paisley Coach mini with a pearl-buttoned yoke and gold-and-pewter heels
Ciara in a turtleneck column hand-stitched with Swarovski crystal metal chain details by H&M, all topped off with silver hair.
Dakota Johnson couldn't decide between the circus and the Met Gala. She wears a multicolor star print V-neck Gucci gown
Katie Holme's dress isn't too shabby but what's with The Ring look? What has Tom Cruise done to the real Katie Holmes???

Juno Temple in a silver lace Erdem gown shot through with violet ribbon and a lost look.
FKA Twigs wears a light golden Atelier Versace gown with a criss-cross harness detail, plus futuristic head and hand jewelry and Giuseppe Zanotti Design heels.
Rita Ora complements her custom Vera Wang Collection gown (with a major feather train) with silver hair tattoos and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.
Michelle Monaghan wears a Rosie Assoulin gown with a silver-strapped bodice and tiered coated ruffles, plus Roxanne Assoulin Swarovski crystal earrings.
Zoe Kravitz in a “winged” lace Valentino mini and tufted tulle heels, plus Messika jewelry.
Florence Welch wears an iridescent flower-adorned custom Gucci bell-sleeve gown and accessories by the brand.

Jourdan Dunn goes full robot in an artfully constructed silver bugle-beaded Balmain gown (with Eva Fehren jewels), then tints her hair to match.
Demi Lovato wears a custom silver Moschino gown with slashes of baroque detailing and a slicked-back do, plus Harry Kotlar and Norman Silverman diamonds.
Bella Hadid goes for fungus-train velvet Givenchy Haute Couture gown and knee-high stretchy peep-toe boots by the brand, worn with Ofira jewels.
Not to be outdone by her sister, Solange wears lemonade-hued pleated yellow dress with an inverted neckline and a hem that flips up to reveal thigh-high matching stirrup boots.
Michelle Williams wears a navy A-line Louis Vuitton mini with a chunky clutch and boots
Miranda Kerr in colorful two-piece Louis Vuitton look with a contrasting ruffle. Nice outfit if not for the mismatch of colours and patterns
If Edward Scissorhands were a tailor, this is the outfit he would have sewn. Rachel McAdams in a golden long-sleeve Valentino gown with bronze-and-gold details and script embroidery on the skirt
Alicia Vikander a patent, sequin and scalloped patchwork Louis Vuitton mini with red hiking-inspired boots
Vying for the evil queen's role in The Huntsman, Nicole Kidman chooses a caped Alexander McQueen gown with a dramatic interplanetary theme studded with stars
Kate Hudson managed to escape Edward Scissorhands clutches with just a few torn bits. She wears an Atelier Versace gown with a sculptural bodice and tiered, slit and twisted pastel train

Again, the dress isn't too shabby but the look- priceless. Brie Larson wears an ab-cutout tiered Proenza Schouler halter

9 Organic Skincare Online Stores in Malaysia

Lately, consumers have been more conscious about the food/ drinks, products that we consume and use. Choosing what to consume or use can be confusing as researchers say one thing and then change their verdict a few years down the road.

For example, there have been lots of contradicting research data about palm oil, coconut oil, corn oil, coffee, tea, wine, and vegetables. Of course, we know that sometimes research is biased towards a certain countries economic gain. A country whose economic growth depends on coffee beans will, of course, say that coffee is healthier to consume than tea and vice versa, wouldn't you think?

So how do we decide what's good for us? Naturally, it's best to just use products that our forefathers (or foremothers?) have been using without any health issues. So it's about going back to basics without the extra preservatives and chemicals. Eat the vegetables that are grown in your garden like how our great grandparents used to do. No land to gro…

The Hunt of for the Milky Way Sabah- Day 2 to 4 Ranau and Kundasang

Day 2- Ranau

So hubby and I survived the winter of Tambunan, and we had a simple breakfast of nasi lemak bungkus which was served with a bowl of soup at Tambunan Town (it's a Sabahan norm to have soup served at every meal, we discovered). The group said they were heading to the waterfall about 30 minutes away after breakfast then will check out and head to Sabah Tea Garden, Ranau (where do they get their energy???).

I said we would join them at the waterfall after freshening up at the hotel. Our hotel bed had other plans. It enveloped us and refused to let us go until noon so I meekly messaged Emma that we would join them at Sabah Tea Garden.

After we free-ed ourselves from the clutches of the bed, we made our way to Mahua Waterfall where we were greeted by green and hilly landscapes before reaching a fairly lonely road (really I think we only passed one car on the way there). After a lonely 20 - minute ride, we saw about 20 cars parked at the entrance which is a huge difference …

Plan your next hotel stay in Johor Bahru at Austin Heights Golf & Hotel Resort

During my recent trip to Johor Bahru, we stayed the night at Austin Heights Golf & Hotel Resort which is located at Taman Mount Austin,.

I rarely stay out of Johor Bahru city when I'm there for work so I was curious to find out a bit more about the developer of Austin Heights as this area is newly developed and still being developed. (Austin Heights sounds something out of my Sweet Valley High Book days!)

The Austin Heights Group is a leading property developer that provides innovative, comprehensive and quality homes. The group offers a brand new lifestyle with the first-of-its-kind “no back-lane” cluster home design concepts in Johor, The “HOPSCA-inspired” Austin Heights township is now the Group’s flagship development with excellent take-up rates of its launches and all the completed phases have been 100% sold out.

HOPSCA is a buzzword used by real estate developers that refers to large-scale mixed-use commercial urban developments. It is an abbreviation of Hotel, Offices, …
