A Visit to the Masseuse with BFab.my

It's been more than a year since my trip to Krabi with my gal pals (Read about it here)  which means that was when I last had a massage. There are many salons around my area but my weekends are usually spent with friends, running errands, reading and lately painting and having a massage is usually not on my to-do list.

I've been pretty achy the past few months perhaps due to always hunching over the laptop during work so I thought it's a good time to get a massage. Booking an appointment was made extra easy with the Bfab.my website booking service. I've written about BFab.my before HERE.

Ease of parking is important to me so malls and visiting salons in congested areas are out for me. I used the app to select a location that was close to where I live (By the way you have the "Home Service" option as well but I'd rather have my massage done in a place which is quiet and smells great so the salon it was) and selected the type of service I was looking for and the date I would like the massage done.

Next I selected the Salon that was convenient for me

I picked Baliayu Spa Sanctuary, Bukit Bandaraya then from there I learned about the services they provide. I chose the Massage Therapy - Head, Back & Shoulder Massage and a pop-up appears so you can select an available time.

Once you select a time and Checkout where you'll need to fill in your details and preferred method of payment. Your Log In details with password will then be emailed to you after your order is recorded so that you can always log in again in case you want to make changes to your booking.

After I booked my appointment, I immediately received an email, an SMS and a call to confirm my booking. I received reminders the day before my appointment and on the day itself so there's no excuse for anyone to miss their appointment and say they forgot! It's rather rude not to turn up for appointments you have booked, by the way!

The massage was, of course, great. After a long hiatus, it was expected that creaks and cracks were part and parcel of my treatment. The masseuse said the left side of my body was strained maybe due to my heavy laptop bag. So she focused there and said that ideally, I should get a massage done every fortnight. Hmm..yeah sounds good but getting it done twice a year is already a luxury for me!

So if you guys are now eager to try this website and app out, you're in luck!

By using the promo code HANNIZ25 you will receive a RM25 discount for your first booking which will be valid for 3 months.

9 Organic Skincare Online Stores in Malaysia

Lately, consumers have been more conscious about the food/ drinks, products that we consume and use. Choosing what to consume or use can be confusing as researchers say one thing and then change their verdict a few years down the road.

For example, there have been lots of contradicting research data about palm oil, coconut oil, corn oil, coffee, tea, wine, and vegetables. Of course, we know that sometimes research is biased towards a certain countries economic gain. A country whose economic growth depends on coffee beans will, of course, say that coffee is healthier to consume than tea and vice versa, wouldn't you think?

So how do we decide what's good for us? Naturally, it's best to just use products that our forefathers (or foremothers?) have been using without any health issues. So it's about going back to basics without the extra preservatives and chemicals. Eat the vegetables that are grown in your garden like how our great grandparents used to do. No land to gro…

NEUTROGENA®'s fashion debut celebrates the joy of healthy skin

Decorated with Mercedes-Benz Stylo's signature colour red, huge flowers, a wall lined with an assortment of single sofas and chairs for guest photo ops and a gold cage in the middle of KL Gateway's centre court, guests were ready to be enchanted by the fashion collection inspired by NEUTROGENA® HAPPY SKIN.
Prettily dressed guests were first ushered to an area where sleek Mercedes-Benz cars were displayed to be admired while they nibbled on hors d'oeuvres and ordered Red Bull served in glasses. At 7.30pm, they were then invited to go the third floor where the fashion show was to be held.

NEUTROGENA®  products were strategically placed at the entrance of the draped show area for guests to try. Beauty Consultants were ready to assist guests with any skincare concerns they may have.

An hour later, the show began once Datuk Nancy Yeoh, President & CEO of STYLO International and Chairman of MBSTYLOAFF arrived but not before Julia Teo, Associate Marketing Director of Johnson…

Plan your next hotel stay in Johor Bahru at Austin Heights Golf & Hotel Resort

During my recent trip to Johor Bahru, we stayed the night at Austin Heights Golf & Hotel Resort which is located at Taman Mount Austin,.

I rarely stay out of Johor Bahru city when I'm there for work so I was curious to find out a bit more about the developer of Austin Heights as this area is newly developed and still being developed. (Austin Heights sounds something out of my Sweet Valley High Book days!)

The Austin Heights Group is a leading property developer that provides innovative, comprehensive and quality homes. The group offers a brand new lifestyle with the first-of-its-kind “no back-lane” cluster home design concepts in Johor, The “HOPSCA-inspired” Austin Heights township is now the Group’s flagship development with excellent take-up rates of its launches and all the completed phases have been 100% sold out.

HOPSCA is a buzzword used by real estate developers that refers to large-scale mixed-use commercial urban developments. It is an abbreviation of Hotel, Offices, …
