45 Places to Shop for Home Decor Online

Home Decorators Collection Bath

PART ONE (NO. 1- NO. 34)

I've had some comments about me posting nice photos but readers get frustrated when they can't purchase the featured stuff in their country and I TOTALLY feel them as the only home decor shops I know that ship to Asia (and Malaysia where I come from, are Amazon -some brands under Amazon still don't- Novica and Burke Decor.)

BUT Buzzfeed recently asked members of their Community to tell them their favorite under-the-radar places to shop for home decor online and they had some truly awesome suggestions. Most of them only deliver within the US so...

I've gone through their list AND added some stores that not only ship to the US but also to most Asian countries (marked with 3 stars) and Malaysia (marked with 5 stars). So get ready to redecorate!

Cotton ottoman cover, 'Festive Pushkar in Teal' (India) Cotton ottoman cover, 'Festive Pushkar in Teal' (India)
Bring a bit of Bollywood glam into your home with this festive ottoman cover from India's Lalit Kumar. The teal cotton cover is lavishly embroidered in shades of bright red, mustard yellow, green, dark blue and brown; and further embellished with pompom trim in assorted colors. A zippered opening on the cover's underside allows for easy insertion of the cushion or filling (not included).

Hammock, 'Maya Bondi' (double) (Mexico) Hammock, 'Maya Bondi' (double) (Mexico)
This inviting hammock in rich bondi (blue-green) is from Mexico's Maya Artisans of the Yucatan. They keep tradition alive by weaving the hammock with the same techniques developed by their Maya ancestors. Long before the Spanish arrived upon the coasts of the Yucatan Peninsula, the Maya preferred to sleep and rest in hammocks. They considered the hammock to be like the loving embrace of a mother, due to the comfortable manner in which the body is held and swung within its cradle. Maya Artists of the Yucatan seek to preserve time-honored customs while also offering stylized versions of the original Maya hammock. For them, the hammock is a work of art. Their hammocks are incredibly comfortable, easy to maintain, and may be stored just about anywhere. NOTE: Because each is woven individually by hand, measurements may vary by as much as ten centimeters. There may be slight color variations from hammock to hammock. It easily packs for travel to the beach or lake. Extender ropes (measuring 1 meter), hammock hooks ("S" hooks), and step-by-step instructions are included for easy installation. To wash, hook the loops together and keep out of the basin to avoid hammock from getting tangled.
